Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 September 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Zentle Reminder. When you create an account, you agree to follow them.
1. What the service does
Zentle Reminder lets a shop owner keep a record of customers who buy on credit. You can add bills, add part payments, and send payment reminders on WhatsApp. It is a record keeping and messaging tool. We are not a bank or lender. We do not collect payments for you. We are not a debt collection agency. We do not give financial or legal advice.
2. Your account
You need a working mobile number and a 4-digit PIN. Keep your PIN private. Anyone who knows it can see all your records. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
3. Your responsibilities when messaging customers
This is the most important section. We check that these rules are followed.
- Only add customers who really owe you money for goods or services you gave them.
- Only message people who are real customers of your shop.
- Stop messaging anyone who asks you to stop. Do this at once, and do not argue.
- Keep reminders polite and true. Do not threaten anyone. Do not harass or shame anyone. Do not keep messaging after someone asks you to stop.
- Follow the laws that apply to you, including laws about debt recovery and personal data.
Do not use this service to harass people, to message strangers, or to send marketing. This breaks these terms and also the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. If you do this, we may stop or close your account, and we will not give a refund.
4. Accuracy of your records
You enter the bills and the payments. We only add them up. If you enter a wrong amount, the total will also be wrong, and we are not responsible for that. Please check the numbers before you act on them. Keep your own records of anything that is legally important.
5. Availability
We try to keep the service running at all times, but we cannot promise it will never stop. We may change, pause or remove features. When a change is important, we will tell you in advance if we can.
6. Message delivery
We send reminders through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta runs this platform, not us. So we cannot promise that a message will arrive, that it will arrive on time, or that the customer will read it.
7. Fees
If you choose a paid plan, we show you the price and the billing period before you pay. If we change the price, we will tell you in advance.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. You can also ask us to delete your account. The Data Deletion page explains how. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used against the law, or that puts the service or other users at risk.
9. Liability
We provide the service "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profit, or lost data. Nothing in these terms removes any responsibility that the law says we must keep.
10. Governing law
The laws of India apply to these terms. If there is a dispute, the courts of Tamil Nadu will decide it.
